You can divide the world in AC and BC. BC as in before (desktop) computers and then after (desktop) computers. While there are times I look at the computer warily, I cannot describe today to the attachment I felt for those first few computers I owned or used. They were more than machines and they opened up a world. So thank you Apple and thank you Bill (my old boss and good friend) who one day many years ago told me, “Peej, we’re going to get you a mac with a scanner and you’ll never have to go downstairs again to get them to set type for an ad.”
